What is Tapapiés?
Tapapiés is back for its 12th year! One of my favorite festivals has returned to Madrid and I’m so excited to try out and share with you the vegan and vegetarian tapa options for Tapapiés 2022.
Tapapiés is Madrid’s annual multicultural tapa and music festival. It takes place in the vibrant Lavapiés neighborhood in Madrid which is full of delicious and diverse international cuisine. Over 100 bars and restaurants take part in this festival. For €3, each tapa is served with a small beer, but you can also get the tapa alone.

This year, the festival starts Thursday, October 20th, and ends on October 30th. Along with food, there are concerts, parades, and activities happening during the weekends from 1:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
